Surprisingly, the food was really delicious, and they have free flow bar for every meal you purchase. It was quite a steal, and probably targeted for the students studying nearby. While waiting for the car pick to Taipei, we shopped around the supermarket just right opposite the hotel, and glad that we did - because that ended up as the only supermarket shopping time we had for the entire trip. Ride from Taichung to Taipei I booked a ride from Tripool which costed SGD $144.22 (roughly ~NT$3,500). Not my first time booking with them, but still disappointed by the service. The first time I booked a 4 seater car for 2 pax, and I got nagged by the driver having 2 large luggage and 1 cabin luggage (and everything fit in the car boot).
