Taiwan Trip | Part 7 - Taipei Day 7 Getting Brunch! We took a ride to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Xinyi Place A9 which costed NT$185 for a 18 minutes ride. Review as follows: We were really looking forward to this restaurant after a recommendation from a local friend, but it turned out to be an average experience. The food was average at best - abalone in the braised pork rice was tough, and the fried rice was a little oily. The mouth-watering chicken, which wasn’t even a recommended dish, ended up being the only one that stood out. What really put us off was the payment experience. We paid cash at the counter, and the cashier did not give us our change - she simply said “這樣就好了 (That is all set)” and handed over the receipt.
