[HK; 2015] Tsim Sha Tsui | Jordan

Day 5

Jordan MTR > Tsim Sha Tsui MTR (Lee Keung Kee North Point Eggette 利強記北角雞蛋仔, Jenny Bakery 珍妮曲奇, Sun Kee 新记餐厅) > Jordan MTR (Yee Shun Milk Company 義順牛奶公司) > Tsim Sha Tsui MTR (Lan Fong Yuen 蘭芳園) > Jordan MTR > Airport

1. Jordan MTR > Tsim Sha Tsui MTR (Lee Keung Kee North Point Eggette 利強記北角雞蛋仔, Jenny Bakery 珍妮曲奇, Sun Kee 新记餐厅)

Decided to head to Tsim Sha Tsui for some food! Took the metro (actually Jordan is walkable to Tsim Sha Tsui, that explains why we started going through and fro both places after that).

 Lee Keung Kee North Point Eggette 利強記北角雞蛋仔, Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Exit E;

178 Nathan Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui
It was lovely, the eggette tasted wonderful piping out. Lucky we were the first few that bought it, cos the queue went rather long after that.

Walked over to the famous cookie in Hong Kong...
Jenny Bakery 珍妮曲奇, Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Exit D2;
Shop 24 Ground Floor, Mirador Mansion, 54-64 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui
The queue at the store was just half of the queue, the start of the queue is located at the street next to the building.
We spent like 30mins in the air-con's dripping rain, just to get the cookies. Not really worth it.

Next stop we decided to have some cheesy noodles!
Sun Kee 新记餐厅, Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Exit B1;
Champagne Court, Kimberley Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui

VERY VERY VERY sinful meal, the noodles (instant noodles alike) coated with 2cm thick of cheese. It was average, cause the noodles were too dry and they stuck together with the cheese making things abit messy.

2. Tsim Sha Tsui MTR > Jordan MTR (Yee Shun Milk Company 義順牛奶公司)

We decided to try some desserts and returned back to Jordan MTR.
Yee Shun Milk Company 義順牛奶公司, Jordan Exit C2;
Tai Wo Commercial Building, 513 Nathan Rd, Yau Ma Tei

We tried the steam milk and the gingered favoured. Do not really enjoyed the gingered favoured version, I think the non-favoured ones tasted better. We sat in for very long time as we were trying to kill time plus we spent like 99% of our money. HAHAHA

So we decided to refund our Octopus Card, the card can be used within 1000days of your last transaction... 1000days is around 2years and 9months... I do not think I will be back Hong Kong so soon. Octopus Card refund can be done all at MTR stations, with a small transaction fee which doesn't cost much.

3. Jordan MTR > Tsim Sha Tsui MTR (Lan Fong Yuen 蘭芳園) > Jordan MTR > Airport

With some money in hand, we decided to spend it in food. So we walked back to Tsim Sha Tsui.
Lan Fong Yuen 蘭芳園, Tsim Sha Shui Exit F;
Shop 26, LG, Chung King Mansion (Woodhouse), 36-44 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Shui
Was craving for milk tea so went for Lan Fong Yuen's outlet. The outlet shop was pretty well done in the decoration, and not much of a crowd. We had a table of our own and flipped the menu like a boss. They have afternoon-tea set, which makes things slightly cheaper. Finally tried Hong Kong's 菠蘿包 Pineapple Bun and it was good. (Finally ate something decent in Hong Kong) But Ice Milk Tea wise, their main outlet was much better, but still drinkable hah.

Returned back to our hostel at Jordan. Chatted with the hostel's cleaner auntie and the Malaysian traveler. After that we took a bus back to the airport. In the airport, we spent every single cent buy all sorts of tidbits back (we realised it was much cheaper to buy tidbits over at the airport).

I'm not going back to Hong Kong at least for 1000days.
