[TW; 2013] Living in Taiwan Series | Taoyuan 桃園

A half day trip down to Taoyuan!

1. Coke Museum 可口可樂博物館

As I am living in New Taipei city so taking cab down to the coke museum (such is situated in taoyuan) is much faster...
Anyway, we booked the entrance ticket a week in advance.
(they require all visitors to book at least a week before arrival on their website)

We were like primary school kids going for excursion! So exciting! The waiting area itself was already so fun!

^^Floors made up of bottle caps

As there was a group of students visiting the coke museum so they dont allow us to wander around the museum by ourselves... and we had to join in the guided tour.

Of course I did not post up all the museum photos... If you are interested just book a date with them and have fun over there!

2. Taoyuan Train Station

There was suppose to be a free city shutter bus (桃園市免費市民公車) at some hotel (住都飯店) near the Coke museum but the hotel manager refused to disclose the bus stop to us when the counter girls wanted to tell us... such an unfriendly manager!!!

So we walked over to the Train Station for... 40mins at least!

There are many shopping centres over there and many streets of shops selling all kinds of stuffs! So we spent some time over there settling our dinner and shopping needs!! Quite a nice place to shop till drop!

Anyway, 樹林 is not even close to near where I live (I still have to take 30-40mins bus ride)... but it is much faster to return back from that train station compared to Taipei Main Station.
&That marks the end my one day trip to Taoyuan!
