[TH; 2014] BKK Part 3

Sawadee Kha! This is the part3 of my BKK trip!

1) LemonTea Hotel (Surroundings) > Pratunam Market
Too hungry in the morning and we decided to try out the duck noodle stall right beside LemonTea Hotel.

And the lady owner gave us a basket of raw veges and we were completely lost of what to do with them. The noodles wasnt that bad, just that the portion was really small. It costed around 40Baht or so for a bowl of noodles.

We decided to venture further down the street towards the Pratunam Market; Pratunam Market is like a stone away from LemonTea Hotel. And we saw locals buying BBQ bananas. One of the locals told us it is one of her favourite street snack, so we bought them...

It tasted fine, but just too sweet for me. (I dont like sweet food) I din know that bananas can taste so different after barbequing it!

2) Pratunam Market > Platinum Fashion Mall
We spent quite some time struggling with the crowds over at Pratunam Market for some cheap clothes. No photos on how Pratunam Market alleys look like, cause it was really crowded and everyone was squeezing like mad, I dont dare to risk my phone or camera, oops.

We headed to Platinum Fashion Mall in the late afternoon for lunch, as the weather was like ridiculously hot; we need some air-con and some chairs to rest our feets.

We went to the top floor of the mall and ordered some foods from the food court which tasted really good!

3) Platinum Fashion Mall > Than Toa Mahaprom

After shopping, we decided to visit the famous 4-faced buddha around the town area. According to the LemonTea staff, it is a walkable distance, around 30mins. But we decided to take a Tuk-Tuk cause we are unsure of the right direction. It costed us around 100-120baht to reach there.

It was located at the side of a road intersection, and it was really crowded despite the late timing.

We decided to walk back, as I memorized the directions. But there were like a few shopping malls around the area and we decided to do some shopping at the supermarket - Big C.

After that, we stopped by at some random shop for dinner.

I tried the fried pork, which I love the most among all the thai food. It tasted pretty decent, and price wise was alright too.

Hence, we ended the day shopping at some random mini night market near this eatery.

Phop Gan Mai (พบกันใหม่)!
