[AU; 2023] 24 hours in Melbourne City

Follow me on how I spend my 24 hours in Melbourne (stopped by for a flight transit!)

Stay

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Melbourne - Flinders Street
The location was perfect - just right opposite Flinders Street station!

Their breakfast area was very small - but good enough spread!

You can choose the type of egg you would like to have:

Salmon for breakfast - this was really a rare find in hotel breakfast.

1. Brunch

Little Brother
This was one of the recommended places for pho by locals. I tried the chicken pho which uses vegetable broth, and it tasted average, a little lacking of flavours. But I heard the original pho (which uses beef broth) was a real deal!

2. Shop @ Elizabeth St/Bourke St

Big brands such as H&M...

or Meyer for more variety!

3. Chocolate Shopping

Koko Black
One of the best places in Melbourne to get your chocolate gifts!
The packaging was so pretty that I ended up buying a couple of bars to gift others.

4. Shopping @ Degraves Street

A small alley which was filled with hipster cafe and artistic shops that you cannot miss!

5. Flinders Station & Arbory

Walked back to Flinders Station, took the underpass...

Arbory Bar & Eatery
One of the popular bars in Melbourne city with great Yarra river view!
But I had a cup of hot coco instead of alcohol :)

Bonus!

Catch the beautiful city sunset over Yarra River - right beside the bar!

6. Dinner

RACV City Club
The day ended with a delicious bowl of pasta and some nice desserts :)

Thank you Melbourne city & definitely see you next time!
