[TH; 2018] Markets in Bangkok

Bangkok has so much markets (whether it is a morning/afternoon/night), with post will cover some of the markets I visited in my recent trip!

1. Rod Fai (Train Market)

We took a grab and visit the train market which is at the outskirts of the bustling city.

It wasn't really crowded and not much of food choices either. But we found some interesting food stall like a fresh fruit blend and mickey mouse pancakes!

2. Rod Fai (Train Market) – Ratchada

In comparison to the train market in the city was superb crowded! & there were strange things like Durian Buffet???

There were rows & rows of stalls to shop until drop!

And of course lots of interesting food too! #fearfactor challenge accepted by trying insects!

3. Chatuchak Weekend Market

Whats Bangkok without Chatuchak?

There is even a pets' section!

It's not only a shopping paradise but also a food heaven. Eat & Shop until drop.

As usual my favourite Mango stall!

& the famous coconut ice cream!

The famous Garlic Bread!

4. Food stalls along Platinam Mall

Platinam Mall is like another shopping paradise, do note that after 7-8ish, most of the shops will be closed. Outside of the mall, there are a stretch of food stall that deserves some mentioning.

5. Talad Neon Downtown Night Market

Another night market which was not that crowded compared to the other markets in the city area. You may refer to my previous post - [TH] TALAD Neon ตลาดนีออน

This trip just managed to try a quite tasty fried chicken!

6. Chinatown

Chinatown is definitely another good place to shop & eat at the same time. We stumbled across this unknown boat noodles at some alley.

Squeezing ourselves through such narrow alley....

& finding food within alley again, this time is some BBQ banana (it was superb sweet)

Headed to the main street for more shopping...

Spotted street food again! BBQ squid, Chwee kueh (steamed rice flour mixture with preserved turnips) & some fried food which was super nice! (abit like Indian Rojak or Ngoh Hiang stall)

Thats marks the end of my summaried BKK trip!
