[AU; 2023] Hobart City, Tasmania - Foodie

Traveling to Tasmania sounds like an annual affair for me. This is a sequence of my previous Tasmania foodie post last year - [AU; 2022] HOBART CITY, TASMANIA - FOODIE

Mures Upper Deck

Victoria Dock, Davey St, Hobart TAS 7000, Australia
I went for the lower deck in my last trip, and this time upper deck! It was a totally different experience and view :)
Every dish looks so artistic with the pier background.

The mains were very yummy!

Desserts were still alright - not as impressive as the mains. Would recommend if you're time crunch in Tasmania and would like to try their seafood. This will be a good restaurant to go to!

Suzie Luck's Canteen & Cocktail Bar

2 Salamanca Square, Battery Point TAS 7000, Australia
A contemporary Asian cuisine in a vibrant atmosphere - went for the banquet menu and it was totally amazing with tons of good food (8 dishes)!
If you're feeling adventurous and would like to try new fusion asian food - this is definitely the place. Everything was perfect that I recommend to just go for the banquet menu!

Fish Frenzy

Sullivans Cove, Elizabeth Street Pier, Hobart TAS 7000, Australia
Generous amount of fish and chips that you cannot stop eating them!

Blue Eye Seafood Restaurant

1 Castray Esplanade, Battery Point TAS 7004, Australia
They source their seafood locally - the salmon sashimi was my love. It just melts in your mouth :)
Seafood main dish was great too, but sashimi is still the best. They are usually full so recommend to book in advance!

Gold Bar

Suite 3, Ground Floor/11 Morrison St, Hobart TAS 7000, Australia
I'm not a huge fan of drinks - but I had my first whisky at this Bar at Tasmania. Although whisky is not my cup of alcohol, but the rest of the company enjoyed it. Chill vibes with very knowledgeable staff on Tasmania whisky. Bookmark this place if you're into whisky!

Yamashita Japanese Restaurant

31 Criterion St, Hobart TAS 7000, Australia
Recommended Japanese restaurant - fried chicken was awesome in the cold weather. The place was rather spacious and quite a great environment for family dinner or a couple date.

Bury Me Standing Bagels Hobart

83-85 Bathurst St, Hobart TAS 7000, Australia
Bagels recommended by a local!

They have limited seating space hence I had to takeaway, and eventually left it there for hours... But it still tasted chewing and yummy despite being cold! But it will be great to go with a cup of hot beverage.

Dandy Lane Cafe

Unit 10/138 Collins St, Hobart TAS 7000, Australia
Happened to pass by a cafe signage and decided to pop-in for brunch! It was a jem find!
The burger was so delicious and I underestimated it. The hot chocolate was perfect in a cold day :) A great place to hang out with friends and just chill the whole afternoon.

This is the end of my foodie post - more Tasmania coming your way :)
