[TW; 2019] Elephant Trunk Rock & Chaojing Park (Bonus: Keelung)

I really like the coastal areas of Taiwan, so when I happen to see this on kkday - I knew I will be there!

Elephant Trunk Rock

It was abit rainy that morning - so the waves were huge and the wind was strong. But it was still fun and relaxing~ (This is a pre-typhoon weather, a typhoon hit was expected the next day!)

You are expected to hike abit and walk on rocky paths, so please wear proper shoes!

After like 10-15mins hike and walk, you will be able to see the Elephant Trunk Rock! But due to the weather, they blocked up the path to walk over to the rock.

Despite the bad weather, still a good place to take sea-shots!

Chaojing Park

It just a park, not really impressive but if the weather wasn't that bad, you could bring over some food and picnic over the nice sea view!

You can revive your childhood by sliding down this huge playground!

It was rather cold, so grabbed some drinks over at the food stalls over there! So nice to have a warm drink at such weather!

Bonus: Keelung Night Market

The driver will check with you whether you would drop off at Keelung or Taipei. So I ended up at Keelung cause there was a place I wanted to visit and I could take a bus from there. Quick lunch over at the Night Market!

Previously I have queued for an hour for this sandwich but that day it was just a 5 minutes queue! A must try in Keelung Night Market!

Random Fishball Soup 

Right at the end of the night market at the corner there is this fishball soup stall which I thought it would be nice to have at such a wet weather. Cheap and good comfort soup!

Bonus: Keelung City

While waiting for the bus, had a chance to explore abit of Keelung city again!

You can take this signboard from far, located the post office in the city and probably you will be able to find a nice angle to take this. If you follow the address, you will be up in the hill and will have a nice view of the sea port! Heard that it is a perfect spot for night views in Keelung!

It is a very creative space which holds exhibitions on the sea related stuffs, will be a fun place for kids and they hold workshops which looks really engaging!
