[JP; 2025] Day 3 - Okinawa | Onoyama Park \ Fukushūen Garden \ Naminoue Shrine \ Parco City
Day 3
Brunch

Soba-ya Chiruguwa Tsubogawa shop そば家 鶴小 壷川店
This shop was featured in the Running Man's Okinawa Episode - where they repeatedly went back to the shop after getting recommendations from the locals.

It was very old school japanese vibe! Do note that they only accept cash.

There was a reason why the locals recommend it in Running Man - it was really good. The bittergourd was the one that totally surprised us that we cleared the plate really quickly. Something good about the shop was there were set meals so you can have small bowl of everything. Of course soba was good too. Highly recommend!
Onoyama Park
The shop was very close to a park, hence we decided to walk over and check it out:

There were 2 shrines within the park and they were connected in some way:
Okino-gû Shrine 琉球八社 沖宮 https://maps.app.goo.gl/NukAkbfiQ8C8RQNZ6Okinawa Gokoku Shrine 沖縄県護国神社 https://maps.app.goo.gl/ij5UbFXtCj2V98vb9

There was also a very nice view of the park overseeing the lake at the top of the shrine:

Some fortune merchandises:

It was a quite nice and peaceful walk around the park and shrines.
Fukushūen Garden

There was a small entrance fee for this garden. It was like a small oasis in the middle of the city, not very huge space, but if you are looking for a place to unwind and take some photos - this is the place.

There was a cafe tucked at a corner of the garden:

Naminoue Shrine
From the garden, we took a short walk to this famous shrine in Okinawa:

It was quite crowded compared to everywhere else we went earlier the day.

We drew our fortunes over there...

and we kinda got lucky!
There was a beach right behind the shrine:

The views and water can't compare it with beach at the aquarium, but still crystal clear!
There was also some street foods near the beach:

San-A Urasoe West Coast PARCO CITY
It seems to be one of the bigger malls in Okinawa hence we decided to pop-by and to chase sunset! There was a direct bus 15-20 mins walk away from the beach, and we were greeted by really amazing view:
We took the bus 385 - which is near to the Ferry Terminal. Do prepare some cash / coins to board the bus!

We right in time for sunset - we just crossed the road from the mall and there was like a big space of wetlands for sunset viewing. Otherwise the mall has their own observatory too.

The mall has a lot of cute collaborations / popup stores:

Of course there were all the popular stores too - 3coins, uniqlo, GU etc. Everything you need is there.

We went to the mall's food court to get some food:

Taco Rice Cafe Kijimunaaタコライスcafe きじむなぁ 沖縄パルコシティ店【2階フードホール】

Taco rice seems to be quite a popular dish in Okinawa - we tried it and felt it was quite normal? Maybe it has too much sauces for my liking, but something worth trying / sharing.
We took the last bus to the city (Bus 385 around 9:45pm) from the mall. Tip: check the bus stop for the last bus timing before you shop as it may differ on different days. We were at the bus stop probably 5-10 mins earlier and glad that we did because the last bus was fully packed - we were alighting at the last stop so having a seat was a bonus.

And the bus was probably the last bus for the entire Naha city, the last stop which was the interchange was empty:
