[US; 2025] Texas, Austin City

Back with my Austin adventures, and this post will be out of the domain!

1618 Asian Fusion

This was one of the highly rate Asian restaurant in Austin, it was like a fusion of Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese dishes.
I saw many reviews mentioning about the pineapple fried rice, so I ordered that but realised it was mild spicy (which I couldn't eat due to my gastric). Quite a pity. Our group ordered some fish, and it was rather nice.

We were there during valentine's day so quite a bit of deco plus some live band.

City Tour

Colorado River

The weather was perfect so we headed to the Colorado River that flows through the city for a short walk.

Quite lovely place to unwind with ducks swimming around.

Congress Avenue Bridge

We crossed the bridge to the other side of the city!

Quite a number of fun shops selling cowboy's boots!

Took a short break in a cafe before heading to the airport:
Mañana
We had some bites and drinks which was pretty decent.

Airport back home

I got doctor clearance that I was suitable to fly home. We heard from an Uber driver that all the restaurants in the airport was carefully selected and represents the best food in Austin. Here was my last meal in Austin before the flight - quite a yummy burger!

Saying goodbye~

Another strange few meals on the flight back home - 17 hours from SFO to Singapore was very torturing. The level of anxiety I had throughout the flight.

Sunrise to home!
