[PH; 2025] Local Foodies in Manila

In this post I will be sharing some local restaurants I have tried in Manila!

Manam @ Uptown Mall

Manam @ Uptown Mall

It was probably my official first time having a filipino meal - I had a helper previous from Philippines but she hardly cook filipino food for us. I was surprised that everything tasted great. From crispy sisig, pork sinigang to their drinks mango, ube... everything tasted very homey vibes. I would totally recommend.

Manam @ Netpark

You cannot believe the next day I walked 20 minutes to another shopping district from uptown just to have Manam again.

But the second time at Manam, the dishes were slightly different. I had the meal with my local friend so she ordered a few local favourites for me to try - we had the baby squids and some pan-fried eggs which was delicious too! Even having it two times in a row, I would totally go again.

Electric Garden

A Japanese restaurant with a twist of western cuisine - they prepared an unique yet creative menu. The presentation of the food was definitely fancy which 100% best for social media. Would recommend if you're looking for a good looking hipster place that serves yummy food.

Located in the old Manila city, recommend this place if you want to try authentic Filipino cuisine recommended by the locals. It gave a very old school vibe, probably running for many years. All the dishes were delicious, and the desserts were highly recommended.

Casa Buenas

This restaurant was located within a hotel near the airport (note: there was a casino next to the restaurant - if that was a concern to you). It had a great atmosphere and the design of the restaurant was classy & beautiful. Everything was well executed from appetizers to mains to dessert. They used local ingredients to do fusion french - spanish dishes.

This post wraps up my mini trip to Manila, Philippines.
