[TH; 2017] Bangkok Cafes

What's Bangkok trip without visiting a cafe for a meal? Lemme kick start my Bangkok trip post with my 7 cafe hopping experience!

1. Greyhound Cafe

Location: Siam Center (Nearest Metro: BTS Siam)

Extensive menu selection; basically is a thai-western fusion cafe! It was tough to decide what to get!

Great food with great atmosphere; more like a posh restaurant than a cafe. However the lights were very dim which really makes it difficult to take photos or whatsoever. In summary, classy thai street food!

2. Mr Jones' Orphanage

Location: Siam Center (Nearest Metro: BTS Siam)

Cute teddy bears everywhere!

Extensive desserts menu but most of them were unavailable nearing their closing hours.
It was a good place to chilax with a couple of friends but their dessert were just average. Nothing fascinating about it. Rather hilarious that the pancake were so soft that it started toppling over after we took a photo of it.

3. After You Dessert Cafe

Location: Siam Paragon (Nearest Metro: BTS Siam)
Queued for almost an hour before we were given a table!
Amazing Shibuya Honey Toast! I would say, it was really worth the 1hour queue just to have this goodness. (thumbs up) The vanilla icecream, whip cream, honey and toast just go well together. Beyond words.

4. Petite Audrey

We tried the potato snack with cheese... and also their famous crepe cake.
Thai Tea Crepe Cake was the weirdest combination I can think of. The milk tea was so thick and sweet that it destroyed the flavour of the crepe cake. Perhaps their Milo flavoured crepe cake will be a better choice. But the potato snack was good to have.

5. Moomin Cafe

Location: Siam Center (Nearest Metro: BTS Siam)
The cutest hippopotamus cafe in earth!
We ordered Moomin Water - which is mineral water with Moomin printings on the bottle. And some blue beverage which tasted not that bad. We were having too much meals that day, so we decided to go for something light - chicken wings. It was good; better than expected. The atmosphere and service was great too. Officially a Moomin fan after this visit.

6. Cha Tra Mue

Location: Don Mueang Airport
When I thought I won't miss Thailand's milk tea, their Thai Green Milk Tea proved me wrong. Loving their soft serve!!! Highly recommended to grab a cone before you bid goodbye to the land of tom yam!

7. Cafe' Brown

Location: Petchburi Road

Serving local Thai food to the backpackers' living in that area. I would say they slightly modified the recipe to fit the international world wide taste buds. Decent serving and food, I find their Thai Milk Tea real good.
