[AU; 2024] Brisbane - 9 eateries that you cannot miss!
Being stuck in Brisbane for a couple of days - I managed to try many highly reviewed eateries in the city.
1. Maru Grill House

Maru Grill House
If you're craving for good korean food in Brisbane - I would recommend this place! Everything was very well cooked, kimchi was great, soup was yummy and the side dishes too! I tried ordering in Korean and I guess I don't sound too authentic Korean and the staff immediately switched back to English.. I tried.

Ordered the assorted Jeon (it is like fritters), and it went really well with the sauce and even the mains. I would totally return back again.
2. Black Fire Restaurant Brisbane

Black Fire Restaurant Brisbane
Went here for lunch and had a very enjoyable meal. It was not very obvious in the photo but I ordered grilled chicken breast meat and it came out in such fancy plating. The meat was not dry which was very rare for chicken!
3. Chocolate Moments

Chocolate Moments
If you're thinking of chilling, relaxing, and hanging out with some friends - this is the right place. They have an extensive range of chocolate drinks - which I'm sure I never heard some of them before. But yummy chocolate for tea break!
4. Santa Monica

Santa Monica
An outdoor eatery which serves California-inspired comfort food such as burgers, pizza and pasta!

It was quite a nice place to catchup with friends over lunch - not too crowded or noisy, service was good and food was generous too. And great location - right beside the central station.
5. Koto Sanpo

Koto Sanpo
The queue to enter the eatery was super long - I never had to queue that long in Brisbane ever.

Picking the matcha was a big mission because it had so many different combination to chose from. The main was easy for me to choose as I have a default favourite for omurice.
Verdict: I find the matcha average, probably it didn't hit my matcha spot. But the main was definitely yummy, omelette was real good. But... I probably will not return again if the queue is superb long.
6. LÜCHA Kitchen + Bar

LÜCHA Kitchen + Bar
I wasn't very hungry for dinner so I found a chinese eatery that the portion looks reasonable on photos - I was wrong...

The portions were huge even for the soup and dumplings. The bubble tea was average, I would give it a miss. But the food was above average. The owner was nice - there was a guy that came in with coins, and no complains at all.
7. Beppin

It was rainy very heavily in the afternoon, and I wanted to have some warm soup, found this place on google map - ramen!

I ordered some fried chicken on the sides, and it paired really well with the ramen. The staff were all very polite and nice - one of the staff told me I could take all my time to finish my meal if I need a shelter from the rain. That really made my day ;')
8. Cucina Regina

Cucina Regina
This is an Italian restaurant located in The Star - slightly fancy place!

The starters totally hit the spot - deliziosa!

Their pasta portions were just right - everyone finished their plates. They did a tweak their pasta to match with the Australian's taste palette, but it was a good fusion.
If you're looking for something nice and fancy - I would recommend this place!
9. Cafe Da Vina

Cafe Da Vina
An old school eatery in the city!

I ordered fish & chips and the portion was huge that I couldn't finish it. Good food at a good price with awesome service - they were going to close for the day but they didn't chase us out.
This are my recommendations for Brisbane for this trip! Let me know if you've your favourite places too!
