[AU; 2024] Brisbane Hotel Rundown: 3 Hotel Reviews

Managed to try out couple more hotels in Brisbane City - an additional to my previous post: [AU; 2022] Brisbane City Hotel Reviews: Luxury VS Simplicity

Capri By Fraser, Brisbane

 Capri By Fraser, Brisbane
Capri was surprisingly quite cool despite the not that outstanding exterior. The room were equiped with coffee machine, microwave, and fridge!

I was lucky to get a corner room, so I had a very wide window!

The washroom was decent, but the shower pressure was quite bad.

The facilities were well-maintained, I had a great time in the gym while waiting for the laundry room next to it.

Free washer and dryer with detergent! Great if you're staying for a couple of days and need to freshen up your clothes.

The pool looks really impressive, and there were saunas available too. Definitely bring your swimsuit and enjoy the facilities.

And thankful that there was microwave in the room that I could reheat up my mala :) I had my air freshener in my luggage which came in handy to ensure I don't leave the room smelling like mala.

Location wise the hotel is in a perfect place - shopping is just around the corner, and all the sightseeing are all walk-able distance. But I do find the staff a little cold...

Amora Hotel Brisbane

Booked this hotel for day stay as I need to leave the city in the evening. There were many people checking in for day stay too!

I was pleasantly surprised that the day stay room was really posh:

The bathroom shower pressure was really good!

I was busy with work that I didn't had the chance to explore the facilities, but I'm sure they are top-notch! Location wise, it is not the best, a little at the corner end of the city. If you want somewhere quiet and peaceful then definitely this hotel.

Wanted somewhere to place before the late night flight, ibis was the best option based on the review and pricing.

The washroom was small but equipped with everything. I was surprised how convenient ibis location was - it was just right beside uptown where coles, target are just 5 minutes away. Would totally consider this again when I just need a quick 1-2 days stay!

Hope this is helpful if you're considering between different hotels in Brisbane. If I have to rank all the hotels I have stayed in Brisbane thus far - overall: Westin > Amora > ibis > Capri. Can't wait to try out another hotels in Brisbane!
