[MY; 2022] Penang Day 2 | Dimsum, Snake Temple & Seafood
Day 2
Brunch: 富二代 Fu Er Dai
Just a stone away from the hotel, and it was crowded for the weekends - had to queue for 20 minutes before getting a table.富二代 Fu Er Dai7, Jln Sultan Ahmad Shah, George Town, 10050 George Town, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia
Everything was DIY - you choose your own Dim Sum and bring it back to the table.
There were also items like paus and some savory food. A lot of choices!
Look at the spread~ I think it costed less than RM150 for this meal, which was rather reasonable for a group of 4.
Break & Shop: Queensbay Mall
No photo for shopping as hands were full :) I would recommend to shop over there, lots of things to buy, see and also take a break with some sweet desserts.
Sightseeing: Snake Temple
One of the famous must go temple in Penang - beware of snakes! It was just a short grab ride from Queensbay Mall.Snake TempleJalan Sultan Azlan Shah, Bayan Lepas Industrial Park, 11900 Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia
Some were in display boxes, while some were at different corners of the temple. I don't think they bite unless you trigger them.
There was a garden at the back of the temple where you can spot for more snakes - please do not poke or disturb them (we saw some visitors doing that and the temple staff was really upset). Snakes need our respect too.
Dinner: East Coast Grill Seafood
East Coast Grill SeafoodMedan Niaga, No.8 & 9, Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, 11900 Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia
It was just 2 minutes walk from the Snake Temple - everything at the right spot, right timing for dinner!
We came around 5pm and it was slightly empty - it got a little busy and crowded after 6pm. So early is good!
I believe it costed less than RM300 for all the seafood, and everyone was super satisfied with the dinner. (My parents keep asking if we can return back there for food) Seafood was fresh, portions were generous - no reason why I wouldn't recommend this place. If I'm here at Penang again, definitely on my food list again!
This marks the very chillax itinerary for day 2 :)
