[AU; 2022] Shopping Guide at Brisbane City

If you're looking for shopping places at Brisbane City... let me guide you through in this post!

#1 Riverside At The Gardens Market

Brisbane City Botanic Gardens
Alice St & Albert Street, Brisbane City QLD, Australia
Opens on Sunday 8am - 3pm

It was quite a nice stroll down the stalls which heads to the botanic gardens. They sells every single thing you can imagine!

It is probably just a less than 300m walk; so I don't find it too damaging cause some of the stuffs you cannot bring it along with your luggage.

You will be able to see the Brisbane River at the end of the market! I will leave Brisbane River for another post.

You may be welcomed by a few of such big birds roaming around the gardens!

Time Spent: 15 mins
Damage level: 1/5
Comments: It will be a nice window shopping place with all the greenery

#2 Queen Street

Major junctions: George Street, Albert Street, Edward Street, Creek Street, Adelaide Street
You cannot miss out Queen Street when you're at Brisbane City - it is quite an organised shopping streets! You can find all the big brands area - H&M, Uniqlo, Daiso, Target and all the branded brands. Just aimless walking about and you will find yourself buying something.

But I personally recommend this mall - Brisbane Arcade
Brisbane Arcade
160 Queen St, Brisbane City QLD 4000, Australia
Not recommending because of the shops, but the inner structure. It is such a heritage place! There is a shop that sells specialised tea - The Tea Centre!

Time Spent: 2 hours
Damage level: 3/5
Comments: It is either you love or hate it - you can window shop, eat and buy! It wasn't super damaging for me cause most of the items were priced around the same as Singapore.

#3 Brisbane City Markets

Brisbane City Markets
Reddacliff Place, Queen St, Brisbane City QLD 4000, Australia
Opens Wednesday & Thursday

Very neatly organised farmers' market where you can get fresh produces! Fruits, cheese, bakeries and etc!

Grabbed some nuts back for sharing!

Something interested that popped up the market was the tarot card readings! I wanted to try but the queue was superb long - if you're interested remember to grab a seat early!

Time Spent: 30 minutes
Damage level: 2/5
Comments: Recommend to visit it if you're flying off on a Wednesday or Thursday - so that you can lug some fruits back home. I bought a whole box of strawberries and everyone back home loved the freshness!

#3 Indooroopilly Shopping Centre

Indooroopilly Shopping Centre
322 Moggill Rd, Indooroopilly QLD 4068, Australia
If you have some time to travel a little out of the city centre - I would highly recommend Indooroopilly!

Super spacious mall with plenty of shops - it was madness!

You will be spoilt by all the food choices and I settled down with some delicious japanese food!

There is everything there - H&M, Target, Kmart etc. Just sharing a small portions of some items I got back!

Time Spent: 3 hours
Damage level: 4/5
Comments: I never knew one shopping mall can complete my whole trip, it was so nice to have everything I need it just one roof. It is not very touristy - I would say the mall was filled with locals and it has a very nice vibe. If you're into shopping, I think you can spend 5-6 hours there with a luggage filled up! It is a hidden gem :)
