[NZ; 2023] Day trip - Driving out of Christchurch City

Had a day off and off we go for a drive out from the city!

First stop: Little Pom's

It is a very popular brunch place - but we are here to get morning drinks!

My hot chocolate, it was so delicious in the cold weather :')

I was watching people eating while waiting for the chocolate, everything looks so yummy. If you're planning to grab brunch, definitely here!

Second Stop: Summer Beach Park

We stopped by the Summer Beach Park and popped in a cafe for brunch.

It was so good - all the dishes were well presented and the amount of food, everything was perfect. Good service and atmosphere, good beach view. Recommend!

The most funniest thing was, it was snowing in August at sea level~ Which was really really very rare sight. Here is the before and after photo:

This made me, who is living in the tropics for most of my life very very very excited - snowing!

Third Stop: Lyttelton

The downside about snowing was... there were many road closures has the roads are not safe for going uphill. So we ended up just circling around Lyttelton.

Fourth Stop: Oxford

If you are totally into sheep, this is the place you need to be. So many farms along the road to Oxford and you can see mehhhhhhh~

And we stopped by a cafe in the town center of Oxford:

It gave a very countryside vibe!

And ended the drive back to the city with such an amazing view - what else can I ask for!
