[VN; 2024] Nightouts in Da Nang
Two food experiences that I would like to share!
1. Food Tour
Joined a food tour on this website withlocals: https://www.withlocals.com/experiences/vietnam/da-nang/tours/food-tours/The first stop was Han Market:

Han Market (Chợ Hà n)

If you're not a big fan of wild rats - I would suggest coming in the day... many were running around in the evening.

There were 2 levels - ground is like a food marketplace, second level mainly clothes, and etc.

You will need to bargain and compare prices around - bought a pack of coconut biscuits at one store (bargained the price) and it was still more expensive than the store just right beside it.
So the tour package includes food, and got to try this smashed avocado served with coconut ice cream (Kem Bo):

To be completely honest - it was delicious. But I wasn't a big fan of sweet stuff so I couldn't finish it. Will be good for sharing. The crispy coconut flakes was a big plus to the whole dessert.
Oh and just a note, just opposite the market has an amazing night view of Da Nang:
Second stop was a pho place! And the guide packed some extra vietnamese food for testing:

I got a chicken pho:

Quán phở Hồng
It claimed to be one of the best pho in Da Nang, it tasted good but no like a big wow. Probably the beef bowl will taste better!
Third stop was this small noodle shop:

My Net Quang
This is a very local noodles called Mì Quảng:

The portion wasn't very big and there was several options you can choose - pork, fish, chicken, beef etc. I did enjoy the noodles!
Fourth stop was a chicken rice next to Mì Quảng:

Cơm gà Hội An
Was really full after 2 bowls of noodles, so the chicken rice was a sharing plate. It tasted different from Singapore chicken rice, it was slightly oily and the chicken meat was definitely a different texture. I didn't really enjoy it maybe I'm biased to Singapore' version.
We were brought to a shop that sells Bánh Mì at Anh Quân Bakery: https://maps.app.goo.gl/x55CuU3Toghomi2S6, but I was too full so I didn't had one to take a photo.
The very last stop was at a cafe where we could grab some drinks:

Login Coffee
The cafe was spacious and had a mix of industrial-woody vibe:

I got a grapefruit tea which tasted alright - just good enough to help me to digest some food away.
2. Seafood Restaurant
Another experience was to a seafood restaurant located in a villa - you cannot enter using your own transport, the staff will ferry you in using a buggy service.

I only managed to take a few photos as food were gone pretty quickly - it was really yummy!

There was a freshly steamed fish in teochew style (alike) where you need to wrap in vietnamese paper rolls - that was my favourite!
I hope these two experiences will help you to plan some nice foodie tours around Da Nang!
