[NZ; 2024] Day 4 | Auckland City - Shopping & Food
Day 4
Technically - this was my last day in Auckland, and my last free day before the series of work meetings. So I decided to go for shopping & food before all the hectic schedules!
Brunch
I started my day working and headed out for brunch after checking-out:

Dum Dum dumplings
There were quite a number of dumpling places in the city, and I chose this as it looked like my favourite 生煎包 pan-fried buns!

I ordered the slightly spicy one with a drink - it was a meal. I had to say it satisfied my dumpling cravings! Not like the best out of the best, but still decent enough if you miss some Asian food.
Shopping
I managed to squeeze in some shopping along Queens Street:

Bought a few dresses and tops at a steal - they were having summer off-season deals!
And there was even a pop mart! I thought they may have some New Zealand specific boxes that I could bring back as gifts, but nope~

I started wandering off Queens Street, and ended up doing a random walking tour:

(Disappeared for a bit for work~)
Dinner
Google searched a very famous pasta restaurant in the city - yes pasta cravings are real!

Baduzzi
The food was really good that I can only say... save this in your google map.

The best item was not the pasta... but this Tiramisu. You cannot miss this dessert out!

Had some space for more food - it was another round of desserts!

Giapo
They are very popular for their fancy ice cream cones! But the best was the broken cone I think? And many flavours to choose from!

I'm not really a big fan of cones, I'm afraid to mess my hands, so I went for the safe option - cup!

It was actually freezing cold - spring weather, with rain... but ice cream was yummy!
I was tempted to get another supper that night (how much work stress~), but I decided it is okay. This was a famous burger truck that opens in the evening - midnight!

The White Lady
Definitely need to come back Auckland and try this supper next time!
