[AU; 2025] Day 2 - CBD / Sunset / Movie under the Stars
Day 2
Breakfast!
Found a very highly rated breakfast store at the corner of the street:
Smooth Operator Coffee

They were popular for their toastie and coffee - me being a non-coffee person, chocolate was great for me. The pulled cheese was definitely very hipster food.
Shopping!

Hay Street Mall
It was the holiday season - thus lots of nice decorations around the city. It's strange to be celebrate Christmas in summer (like 37 degrees). There were two street malls - Hay Street and Murray Street, just right next to each other.
I managed to buy some stuffs from Pandora (it was claimed Australia has the lowest priced Pandora products).

London Court

I saw this place online and thought it was rather interesting - looks like Europe after the Christmas deco!
Lunch!
NAO Japanese Ramen
I need my asian fix - so I decided to go for Ramen! The store had a very interesting dark lighting:
Ramen was decent - not the best but good for the tummy!
Break & back for dinner with Sunset
Cottesloe Beach
We grabbed some fish & chips - the Aussie way of enjoying the beach, picnic!
Amberjacks
Sun set was amazing, like a duck egg yolk!
Movie under the Stars
The University of Western Australia
Our local counterparts wanted us to experience something local, watching movies in the summer night sky. It was held in the university and we get to go for a small tour in the dark:

The weather was more cooling than I expected, it was quite a cool and enjoyable experience. The pizza onsite was great and yummy. Always check out their website for the most updated movie screening: https://www.perthfestival.com.au/program/season-2026/lotterywest-films.
This ended our night perfectly under the stars!
