Olympic Park 올림픽공원

I'm once a fan of the variety show The Return of Superman 슈퍼맨이 돌아왔다, I remember the scene where the Lee Twins (Seo Eon and Seo Joon) were brought to the Olympic Park to find the "Lonely Tree".

So the lonely me decided to find the tree too! To reach Olympic Park, simply head to Exit 3 at Olympic Park Station!

Upon exiting, you will be able to see the impressive Olympic logo. If I did not remember wrongly, a China variety show Race the World 非凡搭檔 had one of their mission right at the entrance.

The Olympic flame is still burning!

Loved the wide spacious entrance!

As my task is just to visit the "Lonely Tree", I did a shortcut instead of following the recommended route. So after the main entrance, enter the park through the left side, you will passby a lake.

Keep walking down...

Cross the bridge...

And climb the steepest slope near the bridge... you will be able on top of a hill with pretty scenery infront of you.

Walk further down the hill and TA-DA the "Lonely Tree"! Check out google image of the "Lonely Tree" in different seasons, definitely worth your trip down to take a picture of it!

Climbed up to the top of the small hill and took a couple of nice pre-autumn shots!

This mark my pretty short adventure at the Olympic Park.

PS/ With so many visitors taking photos, the "Lonely Tree" is not that lonely anyway. (;
