Day 6

Breakfast

We were quite ready to head home! Before our flight, we decided to grab some local duck noodles near our hotel.

亦林阁姜母鸭·沙茶面(大同地标店)

There were many similar stores along the street, selling very similar food, but I saw that this stall was one of the higher rating ones on Amap.

We ordered a few items to try:

We actually enjoyed the roe noodles a lot, and of course the specialty - 姜母鸭 ginger duck! It was surprisingly good.

Recommend if you want to have a quick bite - they serve food in the flash of light!

Airport

It was quite an interesting adventure to the airport.

Firstly - we booked a didi to the airport, we wanted a bigger car to fit in our luggage and wheelchair. We went for some six seater premium car, and we ended up with a flashy black car, and the driver was on full suite.

I forgot to take a photo, but we were all "wow" and impressed by the amount we paid was able to get such flashy experience. Recommend to try!

Next - check-in process was a little strange, it felt like very disorganised, but nevertheless everything went well.

What really amazed me was the amount of screening we had to go through, just look at our plane tickets, it was filled with stamps - every time you clear a screening you get one stamp. Some screening were quite touchy which I didn't like but I respect their professionalism and security.

The airport was quite small, but rather nice to shop. If you need any last minute gifts and such, you can get it there. But the prices are slightly higher compared to the shops out in the city.

I recommend this cafe (Miss Zhao 赵小姐的咖啡馆), the drinks were good:

The flight was good and what surprised me again was we got another round of special screening at Changi Airport! This is definitely the most interesting return trip I ever had :D
