[JP; 2025] Day 3 - Tokyo | Tsukiji Market \ Ginza \ Shibuya \ Harajuku
Day 3
Morning — Tsukiji Market

Fish Market Tsukiji Outer Market築地場外市場

Marutake つきじ丸武

Back to this Tsukiji Market's famous Tamagoyaki! It was still as good as it was many many years ago. But the price was no longer pocket friendly anymore, worth the try! We went a few rounds around the market and couldn't find a place that we would like to settle down for brunch. While we were figuring some directions to head out of the market, it started raining, we saw this small restaurant underground which looked like a good place.
刺身BAR 河岸頭

They had really a good lunch deal on their seafood bowls if you pay via cash. I ordered a seafood bowl which costed ~2,800yen, which was cheaper than all the other shops in the market. I'm missing this bowl of goodness. The salmon were fresh and the scallop were so tender. Totally worth every single penny on this seafood bowl.
Noon — Ginza

We walked from the market towards Ginza. It was quite an easy straight forward walk with lots of interesting buildings to stop and appreciate.

Nissan Crossing

If you're a big of fan of Japanese cars - you definitely cannot miss out Nissan Crossing! They had a few cars on display and a cafe on level 2 which also sells merchandises.

BEAMS was recommended by many so we decided to check it out. They had a whole range of products from clothes to accessories, all the products were in good quality, could totally understand why it was highly recommended.

Muji Hotel Ginza
The popular Muji Hotel! It was like a shopping mall where you could also get some stuffs from Muji Ginza Flagship Store, or pop by their cafe for a drink.

We stumbled across this place where it was superb crowded filled with tourists (tax free). It was like a lifestyle mall - so many people were at the optical store because everything was under SGD $100, the queue to get examine was 1-2 hours yet everyone was still waiting. There was also a Nitori on one of the levels!

This Daiso was located in the same building of Uniqlo! It was huge with wide selection of products. Definitely very touristy, so a great place if you want to grab some gifts to bring back home.

Japanese definitely brought Moomin to another level - everything in the shop was way too cute! Recommend if you're a fan too!
Late Afternoon — Shibuya

ドリームカプセル MAGNETbySHIBUYA109

This Gachapon shop was gaining some popularity on Instagram because it provides a free view of the famous Shibuya crossing. A good alternative from the Starbuck next building, but the view was limited. But I would say they do had a good variety of gacha if you're a fan of it.
Evening — Harajuku

niko and ... TOKYO

We walked from Shibuya towards Harajuku and stopped by this popular Japanese clothing brand - they have both women and men’s, as well as lifestyle items. There was a small cafe tucked at the corner which served decent dessert & drinks. Great place to chill after some walking around.

3COINS Harajuku Main Store3COINS 原宿本店
Probably one of the biggest 3coins I have visited thus far! It was quite a busy store but an enjoyable place to shop around as they had a wide range of products in this store. Highly recommend if you've a shopping list of items to get from 3coins - so you will get closer to the tax refund!

MOOMIN CAFE STAND

We spotted another Moomin shop on the way and it was a sign that I need to buy something (I didn't get anything from Ginza). The staff were quite friendly so it was a joy to just grab something small.

Endless shops of cute animals, gachapon shop and lifestyle products (of course another Daiso). I was surprised that there wasn't much food options along the Takeshita Street compared to previously.

WITH HARAJUKU
I found this pretty peaceful rooftop garden - located at this small mall which has brands such as IKEA, H&M, Uniqlo etc. Great place if you want to unwind from all the shopping mess.

We found this small restaurant located at an underground of a building which served Okinawa cuisine. The dishes were a bit hit and miss - like the salad was surprisingly nice but the stire fry egg with bittergourd was a miss. We underestimated the portion and overordered, but they were nice to reduce the portion when we requested it.
This marks the 3rd night in Tokyo!
